NEW STUDY SUGGESTS NEANDERTHALS CONSUMED MAGGOTS IN DIET

Since maggots were abundant near carcasses, easy to collect, rich in fat, and a common food source among modern foraging societies, Beasley argues they were likely a regular part of Neanderthal diets.
