Tottenham – Manchester United
Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester United clash this weekend in what is a key game for both managers, especially for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Norwegian remains in his job for now but is under immense pressure following a humiliating 5-0 home defeat by rivals Liverpool. The loss continued United’s free fall as they have collected just one point from four Premier League matches. United will be without Paul Pogba who got a straight red card against Liverpool but the good news is Raphael Varane is back. United has won 6 of the last 10 against Spurs while the London club has won only 2. Both teams have scored in the last five head-to-heads.
ODDS: Tottenham (+200) | Draw (+260) | Man Utd (+130)
Borussia Dortmund – Cologne
The news that Erling Halland is most likely out for the first part of the season has shocked Borussia fans. In a local derby, Cologne is coming to Westfalenstadion, a place where they celebrated last year winning by 2-1. Cologne was in the danger zone last year, barely escaping relegation, and it seems like they have learned the lesson this season. Steffen Baumgart’s squad is currently in eighth place with 13 points, eight less than the second Dortmund. Borrusia is only one point shy of the league leaders Bayern. This is an ideal opportunity to try to get to the top.
ODDS: Dortmund (-118) | Draw (+400) | Cologne (+500)
Union Berlin – Bayern Munich
No one can still figure out what happened to Bayern during the week as they lost 5-0 to Borussia Monchengladbach in the German Cup. The Bavarians will give their best to get back on the winning track which means it will be a long afternoon for Union Berlin on Saturday. Bayern is still on top of the Bundesliga with seven wins in nine games. Last season Union Berlin was a tough opponent managing to come out with a draw in both games against Bayern. The team from the German capital is in great form currently standing fifth with 4 wins and 4 draws in nine matches.
ODDS: Union Berlin (+800) | Draw (+450) | Bayern Munich (-334)
Atletico Madrid – Real Betis
Atletico Madrid hasn’t won in their last three games with two draws with Levante and Real Sociedad in La Liga and a 2-3 loss to Liverpool in the Champions League. Diego Simeone’s team has fallen to sixth place in the standings and the game against Real Betis on Sunday is a must-win for them. Atletico has won three of their last four head-to-heads but Betis has two consecutive wins against Valencia and Rayo Vallecano and is currently in fourth place. Four of the last five games between these two teams have seen under 2.5 goals.
ODDS: Atletico Madrid (-167) | Draw (+280) | Real Betis (+500)
Aston Villa – West Ham
West Ham is in tremendous form winning their last four games in all competitions without conceding a single goal. The Hammers sit in fourth place in the Premier League and if they manage to win in Birmingham, they will launch themselves at the very top of the league. Aston Villa on the other hand has three consecutive losses in the EPL against Arsenal, Wolves and Tottenham and is currently 13th. Villa has only one win in the last ten games against West Ham, with the Hammers winning five, and four games ended in a draw.
ODDS: Aston Villa (+187) | Draw (+250) | West Ham (+140)
