Fernando Tatis Jr. Had himself another fantastic night. He went 3 for 3 with two home runs. he hasn’t skipped a beat since coming back from the covid-19 IL. He led the charge as the Padres thumped the Seattle Mariners.

Adam Wainwright put in one hell of a performance last night for the St. Louis Cardinals. He pitched eight shutout innings with seven strikeouts. Amazingly, it still wasn’t good enough. The Cards lost to the Chicago Cubs 2-1 in extra innings.

Yes, J D Martinez and Cedric Mullins have better numbers on Monday than Tyler Naquin but, during the last seven games with Martinez and Mullins have not hit particularly well. That’s why Tyler Naquin would probably have been your best choice on your fantasy team today. Too bad he ain’t playing. In fact, most of the Top 5 Monday hitters aren’t in action today. That leaves us with Garrett Cooper since the Miami Marlins are, in fact, playing tonight. They face off against the Washington Nationals.
