WHY IT’S HOT… The latest project from Soul Assassins architect and legendary Cypress Hill’s member DJ Muggs, finds him snatching up lava hot underground rapper Rome Streetz for a full-length LP titled “Death and the Magician”. If the lead single, “Prayers Over Packages”, is any indication of what’s in store, we might have a new star on our hands. Streetz has it all; outstanding lyrics, an elastic flow that perpetually sits in the pocket, and that “it” factor on the mic that let’s you know he’s not just another MC. Expect to hear a lot about this project and Rome Streetz in the coming months.
