Data Dependent: The King ain’t dead, All Hail the King

The King. The King. The King. LeBron James had his best game as a Los Angeles Laker last night. He registered 51 points, 8 rebounds, 6 threes, 3 assists, 2 steals, and a block. For even more perspective, he shot 61% from the field and 75% (6-for-8) from beyond the arc. Those are some stats of the 33-year old. Maybe its being back in Miami. Either way, the King was in attack-mode from tip-off. Let the GOAT debate continue. Oh and the Lakers beat the Heat 113-97.

One more thing about last night. The Golden State Warriors have now lost their last 5 of 7 with their 104-92 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. They’ve got injuries and a Draymond/KD problem that is having tangible impacts. Is their run in jeopardy?
