MLB Power Rankings (Week 5): Astros on top, Cards make climb, meet the latest Junior

As we start Week 5 in MLB play the rankings are beginning to stabilize a bit. St. Louis made the biggest jump with their sweep of Milwaukee and taking 2 of 3 from the Mets. The Brew Crew, Phillies and Nationals had the largest drop offs. Steady at the top is still Houston and Tampa Bay. The Yankees with 15 players already hitting the IL have found ways to win with “the replacements”. Arizona and Colorado have woken from the early season naps. We look forward to Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s debut with Toronto this week. 20 years young, with a mountain of deserved hype, we look forward to the phenom’s debut. So does his dad (wink).
