IMAGES WE LOVE: Space shuttle Columbia at sunrise

The Space Shuttle Columbia at sunrise in 1983. Its first mission was April 12, 1981. It flew trips for over 22 years. The shuttle disintegrated during re-entry near the end of its 28th mission, killing everyone on board.
