At the heart of Soaak Technologies‘ offerings is a groundbreaking sound therapy technology that taps into the natural responsiveness of the human body to sound frequencies. By combining this scientific foundation with user-friendly digital tools, Soaak Technologies is not only advancing the field of sound therapy but also empowering individuals to take charge of their well-being in an increasingly fast-paced world.
Henry Penix set aside some time to discuss Soaak Technologies’ approach to sound therapy.
Can you describe the founding vision of Soaak Technologies and how it has evolved over time?
Indeed, we’ve always held a vision of aiding individuals in areas such as anxiety, depression, low libido, low energy, brain fog, etcetera—this vision was in place a full eight years before Covid. As we perfected some of these modalities, the advent of Covid brought us even closer to our vision and our goal. We discovered that most people have been affected by at least one of the symptoms I’ve just mentioned.
Did the app come first for you? I’m unsure about that. Was it the app first, or did you start with the clinics?
We started with the clinics first, and then we developed an app, akin to a wellness spa, where we treated people using sound frequency compositions. Over the eight years we operated in the clinics, treating conditions like anxiety and depression, we refined our delivery system.
My wife, who managed the clinics, approached me with the idea of expanding our reach. The goal was to help more people, but instead of striving to build 500 locations nationwide, we contemplated creating an app. After dedicating roughly two years—investing significant time, energy, effort, and money—we validated the efficacy of our approach. Our app demonstrated the same level of efficacy as our in-clinic treatments. Once we had spent two years confirming this, we launched our app.
Could you explain the basic principles of sound frequency therapy and how it works?

How does frequency therapy work? Does it affect the brain in some way?
When your brain isn’t preoccupied with thoughts or symptoms of anxiety, depression, and the like, it’s freed to perform in the way we believe it was meant to: with high energy and pure thought. This state allows you to organize your thoughts and focus properly. Consequently, anything you set your mind to becomes much easier to achieve because your mind is no longer weighed down by anxieties, depression, or any problems it’s trying to solve. You’re not fixated on fixing these issues anymore. This freedom creates a clear pathway to accomplish your goals.
What conditions is sound frequency therapy most effective in treating?
While we are not medical professionals and do not claim to cure any conditions, we do address symptoms. Our primary focus is on symptom relief, and with our reach extending to 133 countries and having provided over 20 million minutes of digital sound therapies, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Ninety-seven percent of our customers report a positive change in at least one area of their lives.
Among all the treatments we offer, the “Sleep Well” frequency, designed to combat insomnia and facilitate a good night’s sleep, has emerged as the most popular. This isn’t akin to the binaural beats readily available on YouTube. Our approach is fundamentally different. We employ frequency compositions that resonate on a cellular level to encourage deep, restorative REM sleep. This particular frequency stands out as our most utilized, and we’ve observed significant secondary benefits as a result. Individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, or low energy report improvements in these areas following better sleep patterns, underscoring the interconnectedness of wellness and rest.
Is it a one-size-fits-all approach, or do different people require different frequencies that tend to work better for them?
When we expanded beyond the clinic, we aimed to encapsulate the top 30 symptoms we encountered over an eight-year period into our treatments. In crafting these frequency compositions, we utilized specific frequencies and methods of combination, which constitute our proprietary ‘secret sauce.’ All of these compositions are copyrighted, designed to provide relief for a broad range of symptoms including anxiety, depression, low energy, brain fog, lack of focus, support for female hormones, support for male testosterone, among others. While I cannot claim they cure these conditions, the testimonials and reviews from people worldwide speak to significant relief from symptoms like anxiety, depression, insomnia, and more.
We organized these frequencies to simplify the search for relief, creating a nearly universal solution. For example, our anxiety frequency is effective for 99% of users. However, we are introducing a new level of personalized treatment. Next month, we’ll launch a VIP program that allows for even more individualized care. Participants can submit blood draw results from their local clinic, enabling us to tailor a custom frequency aligned with their unique biological makeup.
Currently, the set of 30 frequencies proves highly effective for general use. For those seeking deeper, more personalized intervention at a higher cost, this new offering will provide frequencies specifically designed for their body’s needs, addressing more than just the typical symptoms of anxiety, depression, low energy, or low libido based on detailed analysis of their blood test results.
How do you determine the specific frequencies to be used for treatment?
Drawing from our clinical experience and numerous white papers on individual frequencies, we’ve conducted extensive research. We collaborate with MDs, scientists, and technicians who review these studies to identify frequencies most effective for specific needs. This rigorous approach is foundational to our in-clinic testing and forms the basis of the solutions we offer.
Frequencies, ranging from very low to very high, are utilized across various aspects of life. An illustrative example is that of an opera singer who can shatter glass by hitting a precise pitch, showcasing the potent impact of frequencies. Out of the myriad frequencies available, we continuously refine our selection to focus on those that have shown potential in alleviating the symptoms discussed in this interview.
Our commitment to research and testing is ongoing. We remain dedicated to discovering, testing, and implementing new and improved frequencies as science advances. Though we have made significant strides in addressing many of the primary concerns encountered in our clinical practice, our pursuit of knowledge and betterment in this field is never-ending. Currently, the methods and frequencies we employ represent our best solutions to the common challenges observed in our clinics.
How important is the delivery system, especially for people using an app instead of going into your clinic? How does that work? Quality must matter, right? How do you account for that, considering it’s a significant variable?
The primary distinction lies in the thorough validation process we undertook, investing two years along with significant time, energy, effort, and funds to confirm that the efficacy experienced in our clinics could be replicated through our app. In the clinic, clients would sit in a tranquil room, flanked by large curtains, and listen to frequencies either through standard headphones or bone-conducting headphones, both methods proving equally effective.
This successful in-clinic experience prompted us to adapt our offerings for app-based delivery, ensuring that whether the frequencies are played through any speaker—thanks to our partnership with Alexa and Alexa Enterprise—or through headphones, the efficacy remains consistent. Our customers frequently use the “Sleep Well” frequency at bedtime, played through a regular speaker, achieving the desired outcomes.
The clinic environment does offer a unique setting where clients can relax in a dimly lit room, often falling asleep during the treatment due to the relaxed atmosphere. While there may be some differences due to the environment, we’ve also received positive feedback from those who listen to our frequencies at home or while engaging in various activities like mowing the lawn, exercising, or cleaning. Even in these more active scenarios, using the frequencies as a form of passive modality, our clients report experiencing beneficial results.
What are the future plans for Soaak Technologies?
This month, we launched our latest app update, incorporating AI, machine learning, and biometric reading capabilities. This advancement integrates all the insights we’ve gathered to offer personalized guidance and education tailored to each user’s health and wellness journey. The reception to the AI features in our new app has been overwhelmingly positive.
Additionally, the app’s capability to read biometrics significantly enhances user experience. For those with devices like Fitbit or Apple Watch, or any gadget that connects to Apple Health, our app can now interpret this data. For example, if it’s 5:00 p.m. and you’re leaving work when your heart rate begins to escalate beyond a predetermined threshold—let’s say you’ve set a limit within the app to alert you if your heart rate exceeds 150 beats per minute—the AI will query whether the increase is due to stress or physical activity.
This function operates entirely with your consent; we ensure nothing invasive is undertaken without explicit permission. Depending on your response, whether you’re exercising or feeling stressed, the app will suggest a corresponding frequency. If you’re working out, it might offer an exercise frequency or a testosterone boost for men to support your activity. Conversely, if you’re stressed—perhaps due to traffic or a tense conversation—the app will recommend one of our anti-anxiety frequencies.
The integration of AI and biometric reading represents a significant milestone for us, providing a level of customization and effectiveness that was not possible with our initial product. This update simplifies and enriches the customer journey, and although it’s just been released, the feedback has been extremely positive.
