The Major League Baseball season is winding down. The last games are here. While much attention will naturally shift from regular season to playoffs, the awards for best pitcher loom in the horizon. For the sake of expedience, we’ve kept the numbers pretty straightforward, especially for comparisons. We’ve juxtaposed players Earned Run Average (ERA), Fielding Independent Pitching (FIP), and Wins Above Replacement (WAR).
