WHY IT’S HOT: Degray’s a fresh voice that sounds oddly familiar. That works in her favor as you listen to her sing and you’re immediately put at ease. In “Ragdoll”, Degray flexes a bit of that young person angst that works well in pop music. She rails against the fakes in a Holden Caulfield-worthy rant.
